Sket Dance anime:D

Okay, I will admit something. I REALLY love anime. And today, I will be reviewing Sket Dance.

The anime focuses on the misadventures of the "Campus Support Group" or "Sket-Dan", of Kaimei Gakuen, a club devoted to solving any and all problems brought to it by the staff or student body for the general improvement of campus life. Due to its general lack of meaningful assignments and unglamorous 'group of handymen' reputation the organization is treated with widespread contempt and it is composed of only three members.<- www.animeshippuuden.com/watch/sket-dance/

Sket-dan stands for
S-Support
K-Kindness
E-Encourage
T-Troubleshoot
While it does have its meaning in japanese, it basically adds up to club of helpful people of a club that helps people.

The anime mainly focuses on comedy, most of the episodes feature useless and random requests from differet characters  in the anime. The anime focuses on tehe 3 main characters.

Fujisaki "Bossun" Yuusuke-
He is the main character who is rather strange for me. He is very different yet similar to other male  protagonists. Normally, male protagonists are clumsy and annoying in every aspect but bossun is one with many talents though they are rather...queer... His talents is mainly in art, though he does have a special talent. When he puts on his goggles, he can concentrate however it will tae a lot of energy. He has other talents that are certainly not normal but they certainly are entertaining. You might not be able to understand a few jokes as the jokes are based on Japanese people. While he is mainly and pretty much useless, he is still an enjoyable character and he does have an  interesting history.

I find his character adorable and maybe I sympathise with him a little. That is why I find him to be my favourite chara.

Onizuka 'Himeko' Hime
This girl is also an interesting character. Her background is rather amusing as she was once a famous gangster by the name of Onihime (lit. Demon princess). Her talents are mainly towards the strength type. However, she is quite good in housework considering her history. Her weapons are mainly Hockey sticks and she is seen powerless without them but she is still pretty strong, i suppose.

She does indeed have a sad backstory to all this and I wont spoil it for you:D.

Usui "Switch" Kazuyoshi
He is te brains of the club and is a very popular character in the story. He is my second fav chara as his story is the saddest. There is a reason behind him using a computer to talk but that will spoil you if i tell you. Just get ready fr a few waterworks cos this is the most explained back ground. It takes about 2 and a half pisodes to explain compared to Himeko's half an episode.

Although I do like comedy anime, I gravitate more to dark plots and those types. I like tragedies and phychological thrillers. So my fav episodes would be 24 and 25.

The story was written very well and it ends very tragically. I cold actually feel the pain and agony Switch went through. Honestly, I cried at the end. It was hard seeing the supposedly stoic character break down and cry. How he was in denial, how he tried to fight against the truth. That is why i love this. They never actually end it and leave it on a cliff-hanger... well somewhat of a cliff-hanger. They never explain that part. I am actually hoping they make another season, just to explain it. Although I don't really mind if they don't.

Well, here is my review of Sket Dan. I recommend this to anyone who likes comedy as most of this anime is whacked out nonsense!
